ABOUT THE COLLECTION
MAY I DO
The second part of a poetry and jewellery series, continuing the emotional arc that began in Spring in 44. Where the book held space for grief and soft endings, this collection moves toward becoming — a quiet readiness shaped by choice, presence, and self-led energy.
Each piece reflects the quiet courage of self-honouring.
A moment of pause. A vow inward. A boundary drawn gently.
This is where presence becomes a practice.
Explore three emotional themes, woven into form:
Rekha — Boundary
Maya — Identity & Vow
Shanti — Stillness
Let each theme guide you deeper. Below, discover the voice this piece carries.
Maya Acrostic Ring

Design Inspiration
This piece began as a meditation on self-commitment — not the kind spoken aloud, but felt and worn in quiet repetition. Inspired by acrostic jewellery, it holds four loops and four words: Self, Love, Soul, Deep — each traced through a series of gemstones.
Every stone carries a letter. Every loop, a mantra. Together, they form a spiral — not of ornament, but of intention. A ring that honours becoming, not in one bold leap, but through steady turns.
Made as a companion to Spring in 44 ( poetry book ), this piece is a soft declaration — a personal truth you return to, again and again.
Gemstones Meanings
Each loop is a word. Each stone, a letter. Together, they tell a story.
S – Sunstone
Light-filled and energising, Sunstone is often associated with joy, confidence, and the gentle fire of showing up for yourself.
E – Emerald
Linked to heart-led growth and honest care, Emerald reflects a grounded presence — one rooted in what matters.
L – Labradorite
Known for its shifting light and inner shimmer, Labradorite is a reminder that change is not chaos — it’s evolution.
F – Fluorite
Often tied to clarity and flow, Fluorite offers a sense of emotional organisation — a clearing within.
L – Larimar
A soft stone with an oceanic calm, Larimar is said to echo stillness and acceptance, inviting rest where it’s needed.
O – Obsidian (Snowflake)
Associated with protection and truth-seeking, Snowflake Obsidian brings contrast — light and shadow, both seen.
V – Verdelite
A green tourmaline known for its vibrant clarity and heart connection. A stone of honest vitality.
E – Epidote Zoisite
Tied to growth through release, this stone is often seen as a guide through emotional transformation.
S – Sodalite
With its deep indigo tone, Sodalite is linked to self-trust and voice — a grounding companion to intuition.
O – Opal
Known for its unique inner light, Opal reflects emotional nuance — it doesn’t simplify, it shows depth.
U – Unakite
A stone of balance between past and present, Unakite often symbolises emotional integration and soft healing.
L – Lapis Lazuli
Long connected with truth and clarity, Lapis holds a calm depth — a stone for expression without force.
D – Diopside
A gem of emotional release and insight, Diopside is said to support compassion through grounded awareness.
E – Epidote Zoisite
Repeats here again — growth is never one moment. Sometimes we need the same lesson to root deeper.
E – Emerald
And again — to love yourself is not to learn once, but to remember over and over.
P – Peridot
Fresh, bright, and associated with renewal, Peridot brings a final note: lightness can be strong too.
