Meet the founder

I’m Natasha, the founder and creative force behind Numa Estilo. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to finding ways to give shape to what I feel but cannot always say, often through jewellery and poetry.

Poetry was something I wrote privately, a quiet way of processing emotion and making sense of my inner world. Jewellery later became a more visible language, shaped through my studies in editorial styling, offering another way to express what words alone could not.

Numa Estilo came into being in 2021 as a space where these two expressions exist side by side, brought together through thoughtfully designed jewellery and reflective written work.

Why “Numa Estilo”?

Our name reflects the heart of the brand.

Numa is rooted in Limbu heritage, meaning “beautiful.” Estilo is Spanish for “style,” expressing our love for design, elegance, and transformation.

Over time, the name revealed more than we first intended. Across different languages and traditions, Numa holds echoes of beauty, people, breath, and spirit. Estilo traces back to the Latin stylus, the writing point, a tool used to inscribe something with care.

It is a name that holds both heritage and evolution, honouring where we come from while leaving space for who we are becoming. Like our jewellery and poetry, it gives form to identity, feeling, and personal expression, something to be worn, read, and kept close.

Designed in London

From our London studio, we design jewellery that balances modern femininity with timeless simplicity. Each piece is produced in small batches, allowing for considered design and reduced overproduction.

We work with carefully chosen materials, including sterling silver and genuine gemstones, creating jewellery designed to move easily from day to evening and from everyday wear to more meaningful occasions. Our approach is intentional, focused on versatility and thoughtful design rather than trend-driven pieces.
